Food for thought...How did chopped liver get such a bad name? I mean, everybody disdains chopped liver. Even other deli dishes feel superior to chopped liver. Pickled herring - pickled herring - thinks they're better than chopped liver.
Last week I was in a buffet line and people were ignoring the pickled herring as if it wasn't even there.
And a pickled herring said, "So, what am I, chopped liver?"
